the veterans united home loans amphitheater at virginia beach (Formerly Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach)
Welcome to our concert-goer's guide to the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. Don't miss ticket deals and hotel recommendations at the bottom of the page!
The Virginia Beach Amphitheater (official name is Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach) has a total capacity of 20,000; 7,500 reserved seats under the pavilion roof and room for 12,500 on the "festival lawn". Under cover or under the stars on the lawn, it's a good place to hear a concert. The Aphitheater has changed its name a few times. Originally called the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphatheater, the corporate name was dropped in 2010 to become just the Virginia Beach Amphitheater, in 2011 it was renamed again with a new corporate sponsor to Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach, and most recently in early 2016 was renamed the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach. That's a long name! But maybe one with potential for some decent nicknames, like the Virginia Beach Vet.
The view from all seats in the amphitheater is excellent. If you have lawn tickets, come early for your choice of spots.
