Shamrock Marathon

The Shamrock Marathon is a series of world-class races with a hometown feel in Virginia Beach.

The 26.2 mile Shamrock Marathon course is fast and festive. The course takes you south from the Virginia Beach resort area, across Rudde Inlet, and on to Camp Pendleton. Then you'll loop back north along the oceanfront and on to Fort Story and spot where settlers first landed in America. The course then turns back south with a finish at the Virginia Beach boardbalk.

The half marathon loop course takes you north from the Virginia Beach resort area past residential neighborhoods and on to Fort Story where you'll pass the spot where settlers first landed in America. The course then loops back and ends at the Virginia Beach boardwalk.

The 8k run is a double loop course on flat and fast terrain. The course runs along paved routes in the heart of the Virgina Beach resort area and finishes at the boardwalk.
